Delta in code-sharing deal with Brazilian airline

TLANTA (AP) — Delta Air Lines said it has entered into a code-sharing agreement with GOL Linhas Aereas Inteligentes SA, one of Brazil's largest airlines.

The agreement will enable Delta to sell seats on 56 GOL flights between Rio de Janeiro or Brasilia and 15 Brazilian destinations. All are new destinations in Delta's South American network.

Delta expects the number of codeshare markets to increase to more than 30 by the summer.
