Hawaiian Airlines is reporting that it carried more passengers and achieved a slightly higher load factor, or percentage of seats filled, last month when compared to January 2010.
Hawaiian transported 691,932 passengers in January, up 3.5 percent from the 668,737 passengers flown during the same month last year.
The airline’s load factor for the month was 82.4 percent, up slightly from the 82.2 percent load factor recorded for the same month last year.
Hawaiian Airlines is a subsidiary of Hawaiian Holdings Inc. (Nasdaq: HA) and is the second-busiest airline serving the Islands, according to PBN research.
