GURGAON: A pilot accused of molesting an air hostess in the flight's cockpit on September 4 has been sacked by the private airline. A senior manager of SpiceJet confirmed that the pilot's contract with the company was terminated last week after the internal committee found him guilty. Immediately after the airline received the complaint, the pilot was taken off from flying duties. Airline sources told that in past too some complaints had been lodged against the pilot. An airline official said: "The incident happened when the co-pilot had gone out of the cockpit to relieve himself. It was then that the captain called the air hostess and molested her. The air hostess had joined the airline in August only. Shocked, she came out of the cockpit and told a senior member of the crew. The crew gave a written complaint to the airlines head office in Gurgaon.'' Though no criminal charges were pressed against the erring pilot, the top management immediately swung into action and set up an internal inquiry committee.
