Saudia's A321 planes arriving

JEDDAH: Saudi Arabia is expecting to receive the first of 15 Airbus 321 aircraft by Friday, officials at Saudi Arabian Airlines said.

“The purchases have been made within the company’s current strategic marketing plan to modernize its fleet through the acquisition of a total of 82 new aircraft,” said Abdullah bin Mishbib, assistant director general for public relations at Saudia.
“The new aircraft will be an important addition in terms of passenger capacity according to the company’s operational and future capacity.”
Saudi Arabian Airlines has already received 25 of its ordered 35 Airbus 320 and 8 Airbus 330 models as well. It is yet to receive 12 models each of the Boeing 777 and new Boeing Dreamliner 787’s.
